When I think of Italy, the first thing I think about is sun, beach and sea.
Do you see yourself sitting in an ice cream parlor in a busy pedestrian zone and snacking on one of these deliciously delicious ice creams? In the evening, the gentle rustling of the waves sounds in my ears while a tangy, tangy red wine circles in my glass. The smell of fresh pasta is sure to rise in your memory.
La dolce vita
But Italian designers also play an important role in interior design. Amazingly, only a few are as well known beyond the country’s borders as the fashion and auto industries.
One of our partners is the Stones company from Montelabbate, in Emilia-Romagna. The company got its name from its original field of activity: the manufacture of furniture made of stone or marble.
A catastrophe occurred on the occasion of a large trade fair in the USA. Many of the exhibits were delivered broken. Months of creative, hard work literally broke apart in that moment. Since then, the company has successfully climbed the designer hill for unusual furnishing ideas. The extensive collection now includes a large variety of items such as tables, chairs, sideboards, to name just a few. Through intensive, continuous trend scouting and visiting various trade fairs, Stones develops contemporary, functional and high-quality interiors.
This company philosophy in connection with craft tradition and the use of natural, regional materials corresponds to the concept and vision of VPlus Habitat.
- Stones is now one of the most innovative and dynamic companies in Italy.
- Stones combines design, functionality, lifestyle and appreciation for its customers with its products.
- Due to the versatility and the simple, almost minimalist color scheme and design, the furniture by Stones fits into any living area. What we may not recognize at first glance appears logical to us on a photo from a different perspective.
The room receives an upgrade in an extraordinary way.
What could go better with this table than the simple shapes and the subtle restraint of the porcelain from Gloria Porcelain, framed by the handcrafted glasses from the Eisch family. On the table, the white-gold dishes invite you to linger, Peccorino, Fontina or Scamorza are invitingly on the ceramic boards by Bucci. Crunchy salads and oven-fresh focaccia create a flavor composition in conjunction with a seductive, well-chilled Ca dei Frati Rosa (rosé wine) that shines in the elegant glasses from Eisch.
The right ambience for a refined menu with a starter of roasted white and green asparagus, garnished with roasted pine nuts, finely seasoned with a lemon yogurt dressing. A fruity, lemony Blauer Zweigelt circles in the glass. Followed by a ratatouille slowly braised in Artigiana Vassai‘s clay pot. A home-baked white bread underlines the spicy vegetables, which develop their full aroma with a strong companion such as a Rioja Reserva or Merlot. The menu ends with a cherry-Amarettini dessert topped by a glass of Château Dudon (Sauternes dessert wine) or, if you prefer, a full-bodied espresso, served in Solimene’s ceramic mugs.
The simple and aesthetic elegance of the sideboards gives every decoration an individual touch. Here it can be a little more.
Another excellent example from our collection is Pinocchio. Our console, or rather table, owes its name to this story. See for yourself: Small becomes bigger. Until Pinocchio finally unfolds its full size. Functionality that adapts to the space and easily grows with the family. No longer a problem if the son or daughter – or both – bring a surprise visitor.
A special experience for the senses that one likes to share with friends.
