With a combination of regional showrooms, more personal support and online platform, the German-Israeli B2C start-up “VPLUS habitat” (vplushabitat.com) as a PE Commerce (personal e-commerce) company.
The idea: A platform that unites European producers and dealers to meet environmentally conscious customers, “the sustainable and conscious lifestyle with exceptional products from the hidden gems and traditional brands that people are most interested in”, said founder of VPLUS Moshe Gazit. “People want to be enthusiastic with their purchase of a special taste – with our help of our community and exclusive products we offer,” says Gazit.
The online platform is not a dealer portal; rather VPLUS imports and sell the goods directly to the customer. The products online include design items, furniture, accessories and health contributing products of upscale level. “When choosing a product,” says Gazit, “the customer goes on the ‘WOW-effect’ and that our products are exactly what the customer looks for. For example, we have a provider of an upscale billiard table that can convert into a dining table.”
VPLUS is about the small to medium-sized companies that have a reliable visual ability to offer. Away from algorithms and social networks, VPLUS habitat should bidder to an active community connect. In the regional showrooms, the goods are available try and ready, Area and Community Managers are there for presentation and further assistance to finally purchase the item on the web. In these fine showrooms, events take place as well like – readings, live cooking, etc.
There are currently showrooms in: Bayreuth, Stuttgart and Warsaw; followed by Ehingen, Munich and Potsdam. “Five years from now, there will be 120 showrooms around Europe” This is what VPLUS habitat strives for, also cooperation with regional manufacturers, for example; Bayreuth with the porcelain manufacturer Gloria Fine Porcelain.
